Privacy policy

DnyanVedh, developed and operated by NovaTech Apps, provides English, Marathi, and mathematics learning activities for primary-school students. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. Parents, guardians, and teachers should review this policy before allowing children to use DnyanVedh.

DnyanVedh does not require registration or ask for a learner’s name, email address, phone number, school, date of birth, or account credentials. The app stores completed test results locally in its private Android storage. These records may include the subject, questions, answer options, selected answers, correct answers, scores, completion date, and time taken. This information supports progress review and detailed reports. Unfinished activity state may also be temporarily retained or restored by Android.

The current version does not send test results to developer-operated servers and does not include advertisements, third-party analytics, or automatic crash-reporting services. We do not receive or sell the test history stored on your device. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, messages, or location. Android, your device manufacturer, and your app store may independently process information under their own policies.

Depending on your device settings, Android may back up saved test results or transfer them to another device. This is an operating-system feature, not a DnyanVedh cloud account. Temporary reports are excluded from the app’s configured result-backup scope. You can manage backup and restoration through your device or backup provider’s settings.

When requested, DnyanVedh generates a PDF report and opens it within the app. Reports may contain question illustrations, answers, scores, dates, and test duration. You may choose to save or share a report using Android’s file picker or another application. Once exported, those copies are controlled by the selected service or recipient. Parents and teachers should supervise sharing and avoid publicly disclosing children’s results or identifying information.

Saved results remain on the device until app storage is cleared, the app is uninstalled, or another device or backup process changes them. To remove local results, use Android Settings > Apps > DnyanVedh > Storage > Clear storage; wording may vary by device. This resets the app. Exported reports and backup copies must be managed separately, and backed-up results may return after restoration. We cannot remotely access or delete device-only records or recipients’ copies.

DnyanVedh is intended for supervised educational use. Android’s private app storage and device access controls help protect results, but anyone with access to an unlocked device may be able to view them. No storage system can guarantee complete security. If you contact developer.novatechapps@gmail.com, we receive the information you voluntarily provide and use it to address your request. Please avoid sending children’s identifying information. Support correspondence will be retained only as reasonably necessary for support and applicable legal obligations.

We may update this policy when the app or its information-handling practices change. The revised policy will display an updated effective date, with additional notice where required. For privacy questions, contact NovaTech Apps at developer.novatechapps@gmail.com.
