Does Aura work without internet?+

Yes. Aura plays audio files already on your phone, and your music library works offline. AdMob ads may use an internet connection, and a rewarded ad may be required to unlock Smart Playlist generation.

Do I need an account?+

No account, sign-up or login is required. Open your local music library and start listening.

What is the difference between 8D and 16D?+

8D moves sound in a 360° orbit around your head. 16D adds movement above and below you. You can adjust depth, orbit speed and the room effect; headphones are recommended.

Where does the music come from?+

Your device. Aura plays your own audio files and reads their tags, artwork and lyrics. It does not provide, stream, sell or download music.

Is Aura free and open source?+

Yes. Aura is free and supported by Google AdMob. Its software is licensed under GPL-3.0; the terms page explains the software licenses and corresponding-source offer.

Can I download it from Google Play?+

Aura Music Player is preparing for launch. The store button will link to the official Google Play listing when it is available.
